Restaurant


My little restaurant


            My name’s Widodo. Recently, I have started my own restaurant. I call it the Indo-European restaurant. I have called it that name because I serve Indonesian dishes and European dishes. On the menu I have dishes such as rending (the west Sumatran dish), kambing gulai (spicy boiled lamb), as well as dishes like spaghetti bolognaise and pizza. 

            Running a restaurant is not easy. I have to make a profit. To make a profit my earnings nust be greater than my expense. If I earn Rp. 1 million and my expenses are Rp. 1 million, I am not making any profit.

            In the restaurant business, the customer is the king. If the customer likes your food and your prices, he will come back to your restaurant. You will make a profit and have a good business. On the other hand, if the customer doesn’t like your restaurant, he won’t return. You will make a loss. Soon you will be bankrupt.
Nb : Earnings - Expenses = Profit
