ITB  Isaiah 29:20 Sebab orang yang gagah sombong akan berakhir dan orang pencemooh akan habis, dan semua orang yang berniat jahat akan dilenyapkan,

ESV  Isaiah 29:20 For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off,

NIV  Isaiah 29:20 The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down--

NET  Isaiah 29:20 For tyrants will disappear, those who taunt will vanish, and all those who love to do wrong will be eliminated –

KJV  Isaiah 29:20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

ITB  Isaiah 29:21 yaitu mereka yang begitu saja menyatakan seseorang berdosa di dalam suatu perkara, dan yang memasang jerat terhadap orang yang menegor mereka di pintu gerbang, dan yang mendesak orang benar dengan alasan yang tidak-tidak.

ESV  Isaiah 29:21 who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right.

NIV  Isaiah 29:21 those who with a word make a man out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.

NET  Isaiah 29:21 those who bear false testimony against a person, who entrap the one who arbitrates at the city gate and deprive the innocent of justice by making false charges.

KJV  Isaiah 29:21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
